I keep forgetting to put on here that George was supposed to have his lip surgery. On the 28th of December 2011 he did have his cleft lip surgery and his tongue clipped. Please be praying for his recovery. He is at the age now when he wants to feel things and now that he can move his tongue, he wants to stick his hand in there and feel it. He is having to be restrained, but he is really quick. One second, you look at him and he is fine, next he could be pulling something off his face, hat off his head, mittens off his hands, but this time it was the tape off his stitches. I'm sure they put some back on, but still.
He also hasn't been sleeping well because of pain, and Leona is up with him when he is awake. Please pray that they will both get the sleep they need. Leona is exhausted. Thankfully, ever since before George was born, they have been living with my Aunt Jean, and she is a special care nurse for babies. She has been a tremendous help to her.
George is able to drink from a bottle with the stitches on his face.

So glad to hear George's surgery went well. Praying his pain ends and he becomes more comfortable and he and his mommy can sleep better. Is someone able to go over to their home babysit him a few hours during the day so mommy can take a nap?
