The day after Christmas, we went to go see Donald and Jennifer and give the girls their Christmas presents. I took a couple pictures.

Samantha & Adalynn
Samantha, Nora, and Adalynn.
Nora was waiting for the flash, that's why she wasn't smiling. She was so excited to hold Adalynn. They sat there so perfectly. I'm so glad I brought my camera.

Adalynn Grace James

   Born at 9:13 PM tonight.

Looks like her big sister Nora.

Poor Samantha and Nora couldn't be there. They are both sick. The three pictures below are from Nora's birth last year in May.

Here is Nora when she was born.

Its Been So Long

I can't believe how long it has been since I last blogged on here! I tend to stay busy and when I have time there is really nothing to blog about.
I took some pictures of the Wilkerson children yesterday so I thought I would put them on the blog.

James

Rachel
Its funny how girls will just sit there and let you take their picture.

Then Dad took the boys fishing, and they returned with these.

While they were cleaning the fish.

Happy 11th Birthday, Samantha!

I love you so much!

Wednesday, February 8, 2012

She just gets bigger and cuter every time I see her!

"Do my eyes deceive me?"

"Nope! That's it! I love these things!"

"Gotcha!"

"Although..."

"Somehow I like the cap better."

"I just can't stop looking at it."

"Still..."

"That camera is really neat!"

"Can we PLEASE stop taking pictures now?"

"Come on, hurry up."

"This is SO boring! I don't know why grown-ups like taking them so much."

Update on George

Apparently George is doing fine. We saw some pictures last night of him and I have one here that I want to put on here. Its the greatest picture of him to see what he really look like, but you can see how his lip is doing.

It almost looks like there was never anything wrong with his lip in the first place! We are so happy for him and Jeremy and Leona.

George Update

I keep forgetting to put on here that George was supposed to have his lip surgery. On the 28th of December 2011 he did have his cleft lip surgery and his tongue clipped. Please be praying for his recovery. He is at the age now when he wants to feel things and now that he can move his tongue, he wants to stick his hand in there and feel it. He is having to be restrained, but he is really quick. One second, you look at him and he is fine, next he could be pulling something off his face, hat off his head, mittens off his hands, but this time it was the tape off his stitches. I'm sure they put some back on, but still.
He also hasn't been sleeping well because of pain, and Leona is up with him when he is awake. Please pray that they will both get the sleep they need. Leona is exhausted. Thankfully, ever since before George was born, they have been living with my Aunt Jean, and she is a special care nurse for babies. She has been a tremendous help to her.
George is able to drink from a bottle with the stitches on his face.

This picture was taken a few weeks before surgery.

Here he is taking his bottle after surgery.
