Random

Well, I've been busy, and haven't thought very much about blogging. I've babysat, been to a 1st birthday party, gone shopping with my cousin, everyday things, violin lessons. Most of which, I did not take pictures of. There is one picture of George at the 1st birthday party.

My violin teacher is going to college, and Wednesday was my last lesson from her. I am going to miss her SO much. Not only was she a very good teacher, but she's a wonderful friend too. We will probably stay in touch though. But I will have to be looking for a new teacher. It was hard enough to find her. Thankfully, there are a couple we know about and one that she referred me to. We'll see how it goes.

Delight thyself in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

Monday, June 24, 2013

My blog has certainly been very quiet. A lot has been going on. My cousins' had their babies, Dad being in the hospital, getting back to violin lessons this past month, my Uncle Don's funeral, garden work, cleaning for my Dad's business week after week, (that takes up two three days out of the week).
That doesn't mean we haven't been doing some fun things too! We had our 4th Annual Tea Party, Nora's birthday party, Rebecca's birthday party, spending time with friends, organizing my room, going to do some sewing soon (maybe today), helping my cousin Leona after she had her baby Caroline, helping my cousin Jennifer with Nora and Adalynn when she's really busy.
Those kind of things occupy our time quite a bit. But I've been growing a lot in the LORD. Dad says sometimes its nice to look back and see where you've come from and where you are now. I look back a year ago and see how immature I was then. I'll probably say the same thing next year. I'm thankful that God is patient, loving, faithful, and merciful even when I'm not.

I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
and will glorify Your name forever.
But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.
~Psalm 86:12,15~

 Sweet picture of George

 Here is Caroline!

Our friend Sarah's new baby, Elise Noel.

I sewed this quilt for Samantha for her birthday.

 Coloring with Nora.

Group picture at our 4th Annual Tea Party. We had a good turn out!

For the word of God is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.
~Psalm 33:4~

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;
I have made the Lord God my refuge,
That I may tell of all You works.

The day after Christmas, we went to go see Donald and Jennifer and give the girls their Christmas presents. I took a couple pictures.

Samantha & Adalynn
Samantha, Nora, and Adalynn.
Nora was waiting for the flash, that's why she wasn't smiling. She was so excited to hold Adalynn. They sat there so perfectly. I'm so glad I brought my camera.

Adalynn Grace James

   Born at 9:13 PM tonight.

Looks like her big sister Nora.

Poor Samantha and Nora couldn't be there. They are both sick. The three pictures below are from Nora's birth last year in May.

Here is Nora when she was born.

Its Been So Long

I can't believe how long it has been since I last blogged on here! I tend to stay busy and when I have time there is really nothing to blog about.
I took some pictures of the Wilkerson children yesterday so I thought I would put them on the blog.

Rachel
Its funny how girls will just sit there and let you take their picture.

Then Dad took the boys fishing, and they returned with these.

While they were cleaning the fish.
